Every now and then, I try my hand at a bit of graphic design. I know the basics and just try and have a go once in a while so I don't forget. I designed this menu for our wedding last month. I found an old Ikea frame lying around, printed it out, dropped it in and was pretty pleased with the end result. Any proper designers reading this: please don't lecture me on the leading, colour usage etc...

I came across this very tongue in cheek blog recently, but it's not as racy as the name suggests. Domestic Sluttery describes itself as "the home and lifestyle blog for women who have better things to do" and I'm already a fan. It's written by a group of ladies who all cook, decorate and design but write their blogs in a cool, feisty way.
